This is one of the teddy bears I dressed for our
blankie ministry at church. We know this little
guy is not real bear, he's just pretending to be.
We sometimes pretended as well!
BEING REAL
They say the world's a stage
And we're all actors too.
I think in some ways...
This is very true.
We don't think those we know
Would really want to see...
Just who we really are,
Just to be you and be me.
So we put on a face
Don't let people see how we feel
We paste on a fake smile
We are seldom being real.
Being real about who we are.
Being real about a secret sin.
We are afraid to let others know,
We think they won't want to be our friend.
It may be very hard
To put to put mortals to the test.
We can be real with Jesus,
He sees us as the best!
He will never be our judge.
He will forgive all our sin.
He just wants us being real,
And to trust Him and let Him in!
