This is Crater Lake in Oregon. It is a beautiful, peaceful place.
It was created by a volcano. It's creation was far from peaceful!
Sometimes our anger is like a volcano and explodes, hurting those
around us! As Christians, the end results of our anger should be
as peaceful as this beautiful lake.
A gentle answer turns away wrath, but a harsh word stirs up anger
Proverbs 15:1
ANGER
Life has many Acids,
One of which is anger.
It takes a lot of love
To neutralize this danger.
Hurt and pain, are the side effects
Of this caustic waste,
That cause spiteful words
To be spit out in haste.
For this kind of acid,
There's only one antidote or potion,
Patient words of kindness,
That are softly spoken.
