Freda's Garden:

Welcome to my Garden:
This is a picture of a crocodile, from a missionary friend
in Zambia, Africa. Words can sometimes be as vicious
as these animals. Words are very powerful, they can heal
or wound. James says, "All kinds of animals are being
tamed and have been tamed, but no man can tame the
tongue. it is restless evil, full of deadly poison."
James 3: 7-8 Be careful of your words!

HURTFUL WORDS
"Sicks and stones my hurt my bones,
But words will never hurt me."
This saying is not true...
Words do hurt, you see.

Hurtful words can cut deep into the heart,
Just as any sword or knife.
Hurtful words cause such sorrow.
Hurtful words cause much strife.

Hurtful words, have caused divorce.
Suicide, estrangement, wars and such,
Because of hurtful words
Families fail to keep in touch.

The good Book tells us,
That the tongue, no man can tame.
It is a living fire,
An everlasting flame.

Hurtful words are like a vicious animal,
Perhaps, like a crocodile,
That will consume its victims
In very short while!
