This is our wedding picture. We've been married 58 years today.
Jim is my best friend and the love of my life! Today's poem was
written by Jim for our Fiftieth Anniversary in 2004
FIFTIETH ANNIVERSARY
The vows were said, the wedding done.
Our life together had begun.
The years have slipped into the past
Some were slow, but some were fast.
Three kids we have-what a joy!
Two beautiful girls and a handsome boy.
Fifty years and we're back to two,
Where we started-just me and you.
That's not true, that we're alone,
All our family is as close as the phone.
The Lord above is always on call
He is closely watching over us all
