TAKE GOD'S HAND

If my eyes are focused on my troubles,
Then I will fail to see,
The glory of the blooming flowers,
Or the mountain's majesty.

If my vision's colored,
With my own selfish view,
I shall fail to look to heaven
And see its lovely hue.

I will not enjoy the rainbow,
With its many colored arch,
If I don't believe in God's promises,
Deep within my heart.

I know He wants to help me,
But he only can...
If, and when I'm ready,
To reach out and take His hand.
