Freda's Garden:

Welcome to my Garden:
This picture is the lab at Kraft foods in Buena Park, CA.
(it is no longer there) I worked there for 15 years and the
last 8 years I did the bacteriological work. That's me on
the far right, sitting over a microscope. I thought since today
is "Labor Day." This picture is a good choice.
Today's Scripture: Unless the Lord builds the house, its
builders labor in vain. Psalm 127:1

LABOR DAY
Today we celebrate "Labor Day."
Labor means different things to many.
To some it is a job to keep,
Earning each and ever penny.

To some it means following a dream,
Their ambitions, their talents and such
It is not labor to them,
It is a career that they love so much.

To others it is a striving,
For notice and or fame,
They labor long and hard,
To make themselves a name.

To some it is an honest living,
They work for those they love,
Praising God for the blessings
That are sent from up above.

It matters not the effort
Our labor will be in vain,
If we do not follow Jesus
And praise His Holy Name!
