This is another calendar picture, depicting some of a
gardener's tools, although there is no pruning shears
present. The Master Gardner uses much different tools
to prune his branches.
Scripture: I am the vine and my father is the gardener.
He prunes so that it (branches) will be even more fruitful.
John 15: 1-2
ARE YOU BEING PRUNED?
Are you being pruned,
By the Master Gardener's touch?
Are things not going right,
You feel the pressure is just too much?
You think God has gone away
And left you all alone?
That He can't be found,
No matter where you roam?
Know He hasn't left you
And pruning He will do,
Because you are His child
And He surely does love you.
Earthly fathers, you know,
If they love, will not spare the rod.
So, we are disciplined and pruned
By our Loving God!
