Freda's Garden:

Welcome to my Garden:
This is me, getting my feet wet on the shore of
the Dead Sea.
Today's poem is taken from Psalm 113.
I love the Psalm and they have provided so
much inspiration for songs and poems down
through the ages.
LET THE NAME OF THE LORD BE PRAISED
Let the name of the Lord be praised
Both now and forevermore.
From the rising of the sun
To where it sets on yonder shore.

The Lord is exalted over all the nations
His glory, found in heaven above.
Who is like you, Lord?
Who else has Your capacity to love?

You Lord, are enthroned on high,
Yet, You stoop to look upon the earth.
You raise the poor from the dust...
And set him with prince's of royal birth.

You raise the lowly on high.
You make the needy Your own.
You shelter them under your wing
And then, You carry them home!
