Freda's Garden:

Welcome to my Garden:
This beautiful picture of the Twin Towers was taken by our
son-in-law, Richard Walker. "May we never forget!"
Today please fly your flag in remembrance of those who
lost their lives ten years ago today.

SEPTEMBER THE ELEVENTH
September the eleventh, changed the lives
Of not just a few.
Gone forever is the peace,
That was this country's view.

We thought home-soil,
Would be forever safe,
That the freedom we enjoyed,
Would never lose its place.

When soldiers returned to America,
We breathed a sigh of relief.
They were no longer in danger,
Was our naive belief.

September the eleventh,
Gave us food for thought.
We must be ever vigilant,
May enemies within be caught!

So, as we pause to remember,
Those who lost their lives that day,
May we never, never forget...
America is here to STAY!
